Woe is mine..."Computer Gremlins" are on my line...
They found my "bits", and took a "byte",
And now my computer is a "terrible sight"!
I tried the "help menu"... I tried to "reinstall",
I tried to "reboot", but it was no help at all.
So, now I had another decision to make...
Whether to "go it alone", or my "computer tech.'s" help to take.
I thought about the money..."how much would it cost"?
I thought about the time..."how many emails would be lost"?
I thought about the "hackers", and just how they would feel...
If I messed up "their systems", and left them to deal...
With the same kind of problems they so readily share...
With any computer user that is left "unaware".
So, I picked up the phone, and gave my "computer rep." a call,
He said he could fix it, in no time at all.
He warned me of the cost, to which I replied...
"I can readily pay it"! (I conveniently lied...)
I would give him a "VISA cheque" to cover the cost,
So my time on the internet wouldn't be lost.
The debt I incurred, my financial stability would shake,
But I had important contacts to make!
The "World of Cyberspace", is indeed a wonderful place,
But it is anything, but... "My Space".
