Welcome to my Image Gallery. Here you will find images/artworks that do not fall into any of the other existing categories.
Ultimately, my goal is to make this section predominantly filled with digitoils. These will be done with a graphics tablet as I find mouse control a bit too challenging for major renditions. :-) |

My "Sunburst Spirograph" was previously housed in a separate category called "Image Experiments". As my webpages developed , I came to realise that all of my images were experiments to some degree, so I eliminated that category. This image started out as a 200x200 transparency where I used the grid at 100x100 and then I drew a horizontal bezier line with point "C" at x,y coordinates 50,50 and point ''D" at x,y coordinates 150,150. I copied and pasted at slightly off center. Then came a new image 250x250 and 19 layers where this image was duplicated and rotated 90, 45 and 20.5 degrees right and left respectively (17th layer at the bottom flood filled with white). Then I added circles with the shapes tool (nb: all lines & outlines at 2 pixels, black in colour). The result, after merging visible layers, was my "spirograph" image, (as my daughter called it). :-) I ultimately colour filled each section with sunburst gradients and then framed the image using "Web Graphics on a Budget"; Mardi's gold_old.q9q Blade Pro preset. |
My first PSP 6.0 image from the public beta version. (Looking forward to the commercial release in Sept./99) :-) The most exciting feature of this new program,( for a lot of users), seems to be the vector image format used for arranging text along a predetermined path, be it a bezier line curve, circle, or any other type of shape. I chose to try it along a bezier line. The image started as a piece of victorian clip-art which was isolated from it's white background, feathered (5) elipse selection and pasted as a new image with a transparent background. I then applied the new oval wood frame feature to a new image, added the black/white linear gradient, pasted the 1st image, and then added a glass globe that was stretched to fit with the deformation tool (not image deformation selections). The sign beneath it is a dingbat font DF Calligraphic Ornaments, letter "Z". To this I applied jan_greenglass.q9q, Blade Pro preset. Part of the enclosed area was filled with the same linear gradient. Then I applied a bezier line curve on a layer above as a vector, then applied the text as a raster layer as floating/anti-aliased and applied another Blade Pro preset of my own design. Both images were then pasted as selections on a background filled with one of "Web Graphics on a Budget" muted wallpaper tiles and drop shadow selections in a grey tone applied. Lastly I added uniform borders of 20 pixels and flood filled with a wood pattern. The new frame was then treated with one of the inner bevel selections. Unfortunately, they are not named so I can't tell you which one. |

Below you will find a series of mini-pics prepared for the PSPIZ "Secret Squares Contest".
The ultimate graphic will be a collage of sorts with contributions by 44 members of this great graphics group. I'm really curious to see what the final image will be. *grin* Milda, help yourself to whichever square strikes your fancy! *big smile* |

| As it happens....they were used for the reproduction of some "decorative mousepads" with proceeds from the sale of same, going to the "group" for future contests prizes. I thought it was a great idea to raise money, and help the members at the same time! 'Twas a lot of fun making them too! *smile* |
