| Welcome to Image Gallery 3. Been interested in different effects of late. Images seem to be centering around a nautical theme. One for the guys! *smile* The image below of a fishing boat was part of a desire to try various sunset backgrounds with silouettes. Kinda like the final rendering. *smile* |

This image started out using a sunset sky jpeg and a water image with the sun reflecting on it. Had to play with the water to get it aligned with the sky and used a bit of cloning to fill the balance of the graphic. The soften brush helped smooth the compounded images. The fishing boat and fish were tubes that I simply adjusted the lighting to a complete negative value. Voila...a silouette. The same was done for the tree line that had to be built up. The only other addition was a curved line from the boat to the fish. It reminded me of a downrigger used for salmon fishing. The frame was created by adding a border of 15 pixels (symmetrical) and then applying one of my sculpture presets...later using the cut out filter to define the inside edges of the image. I kinda liked the effect. *smile* |
Another great challenge from "Graphic Buds". The original graphics were black and white. Used the inner bevel tool quite extensively with this. All renditions are my own originals except for the chain which is a tube from "Juliomac" and the diamonds are from "Fifth Street Studio". Juliomac has done some phenomenal graphics with his version of "gold". Please pay him a visit! *smile* I've made some tubes of the cupids, (twice the size of graphic shown), and the hearts, (with and without text). It's a little late for people to use these now, but will be uploading original tubes on a new page as soon as I have a full page! *grin* Hope all visitors have a memorable Valentine's Day! *smile* |
