The "Snow Queen"...one of Hans Christian Anderson's beloved children's tales of love's "lost and found".

Fortunately for Kai...Girda's efforts to release him from the ice in his heart, are successful...and the "Snow Queen's power over him is dispelled.
They end up together, once again...as they should be... *smile*

The "Snow Queen", however, remains alone, destined to walk the halls of her empty kingdom...forever searching for the love that she has never had...and probably, never will.

"Credits"
The model is the "Turmaline Elf/Fairy", (without the "elf/fairy ears"), for "Victoria4", by "DAZ", by "FK Design by Fabi", which can be found at "3dcommune.com".
It was rendered in "Poser6" using the "firefly" application.
The hair is "Melite hair" from "Mairyr and Plus 3D", (please see "Renderocity.com". ).
The clothing is mine, being made from some cloth selections, from "Rhiannon's "Paper Doll" Collection", (please see "Renderocity.com". ), and my own ingenuity.
I used my graphics tablet extensively on this project...especially for making the fur trim on the dress, the fur cape, and the boots.
The image effects are from "Eyecandy", (for the fur), and "Blade Pro", for the leather.
The ice castle background is "Ambient Moods 3", from a series of lovely backgrounds purchased from Susan McKivergan, (or Sveva..) which can be found at "Renderocity.com".
All "post-work" was done in "Paint Shop Pro, version 7.04". I have subsequent revisions to this program. but I prefer to use this version...at least until I can buy the latest copy of "Photoshop"! *smile*

Images on this page are for "viewing only". Please respect my wishes. Thank you.
